鑲邊旋葉鐵莧

常綠灌木，株高達1至2公尺，幼枝被有白色剛毛，葉子為單葉互生，葉端為圓形，葉基心形，有明顯捲曲，紙質，葉緣為鋸齒狀，鑲著白邊且旋轉成波狀，葉面綠中帶黃，葉形變化豐富，有心形、闊卵形、線形、倒卵形、橢圓形、捲葉等。葉色有綠、銅紅、銅綠、乳白、黃等斑紋或斑塊鑲嵌等不同品種。春、夏季節開花，花小不明顯，雌雄同株，單性花，葇荑花序，雄花為黃色，雌花為白色或淡紅色，果實為蒴果，但在台灣少見結果。
