南港的礦坑
1.南大煤礦(原名金龍煤礦)：位於舊莊街二段282號，至民國六十多年才廢坑。

2.源豐煤礦：在研究院路二段102巷山裡，過去有四、五十戶的工寮，每家都還編上「前山XX號」的門牌，因此處位於姆指山系之前，所以稱為「前山」。
源豐煤礦是民國30年左右蕭貴川先生重新申請，：原為神代煤礦的舊坑。而神代煤礦曾是南港最大的煤礦坑。

4.新豐煤礦：位在研究院路二段213巷內，穿過北二高再往上走，就在河溝內。坑口保留完整，但坑內有地下水源，附近居民將其坑口以沙石堵住，存儲地下水，做為澆菜之水源。

5.松山二坑：沿著成福路269巷，走至路的盡頭，即是松山二坑。日據時代松山二坑是由許金定的松山煤礦公司進行開採，全長約三公里，由於礦藏豐富，全盛時期坑內的工作人員多達200多人，煤炭產量每天有200多噸。由於品質好，產量供不應求，直到民國八十年左右，才因開採殆盡而停止運作。今日仍可見到坑口。松山煤礦公司的許氏家族所經營的松山一坑、二坑、三坑、四坑，就在四獸山附近，只有松山二坑在南港區的範圍內。
