膝帶 (彎帶)長喙天蛾Macroglossum sitiene 鱗翅目天蛾科 飼養、觀察、紀錄：蔡秀錦 緣起： 老家住在雲林麥寮的我，寒暑假都會回家省親，喜歡生態的我總會到媽媽的菜園逛逛，菜園裡有不少的蟲子，我都會捕捉牠們的身影，然後紀錄在網站上。屋旁的紫茉莉在黃昏散發香味，常常看見長喙天蛾來吸花蜜，由於相機功能不強，我只能純欣賞，無法紀錄牠吸食花蜜的精彩畫面。今年暑假，我回家去，照往例到處看看，看見長喙天蛾在我面前飛來飛去，牠不是在吸蜜而是在產卵，在菜園籬笆的植物上產卵，我仔細一看，牠總共在三種植物上產卵，有雞屎藤、烏歛莓、紅葉鐵莧，我上網查閱相關資料，共有9種長喙天蛾以雞屎藤為寄主植物，我決定以雞屎藤飼養。 食草： 以雞屎藤為寄主植物。 雞屎藤 生活史：卵→幼蟲→蛹→成蟲，屬於完全變態 卵期：100.07.11~07.13，3天 卵為圓形，黃綠色，徑寬約1mm。 粗心的蛾媽媽將卵產在紅葉鐵莧葉子上，可能雞屎藤葉子就在附近，牠認為牠的蟲寶寶應該能找到食物。 幼蟲期：100.07.13~07.24，12天 一齡幼蟲：07.13~07.14，2天 一齡幼蟲體色為黃色，尾巴為黑色。 一齡幼蟲體長約4~8mm，尾巴長約1.8mm，頭殼寬約0.5mm。 一齡幼蟲末期，體色因吃下葉子而轉為淡綠色。 二齡幼蟲：07.15~07.16，2天 二齡幼蟲體色變為綠色，尾巴為黑色。 二齡幼蟲體長約8~14mm，尾巴長約3mm，頭殼寬約0.9mm。 二齡幼蟲末期，身體兩側顏色變深。 三齡幼蟲：07.17~07.18，2天 三齡幼蟲體色為綠色，尾巴為黑色。 三齡幼蟲體長為15~20mm，尾巴長為5mm，頭殼寬約1.4mm。 四齡幼蟲：07.19~07.20，2天 四齡幼蟲體色為綠色，尾巴為黑色，背部有一條深綠色線，身體側面有2條淺綠色線紋。 四齡幼蟲體長為21~31mm，尾巴長8mm，頭殼寬為2.0mm。 終齡幼蟲：07.21~07.23，3天 終齡幼蟲體色為綠色，尾巴為彩虹色，這是辨識此種幼蟲很重要的依據。 終齡幼蟲體長為32~58mm，尾巴長為8mm。 終齡幼蟲即將化蛹，體色轉為紅褐色。 蛹期：100.07.24~08.02，10天 前蛹： 終齡幼蟲在飼養箱找一個角落，吐絲圍成一個蛹室。 終齡幼蟲在蛹室中靜靜進行著巨大變化。 終齡幼蟲身體變短，顏色變淺，一天後，才會變成蛹。 蛹： 剛化成的蛹，淡褐色，長33mm，寬8mm。 即將羽化的蛹，深褐色，可看到眼睛與口器。 成蟲期：100.08.03，羽化 剛羽化的成蟲，最大的辨識特徵是上翅黑色的雙L圖案。 成蟲體型像一架戰鬥機，頭部為三角形，複眼為黑褐色，尾巴向上翹。 腹部及翅膀腹面為橘褐色，腹部兩側各有3個白色斑點。 後記： 在秀純老師整理的資料中，長喙天蛾在雲林的紀錄只有草湖有發現，其實，我在麥寮海邊的村落裡，這幾年來一直有觀察到，只是都看過就算了，沒有捉來看看是哪一種。其實，在這之前我也搞不清楚長喙天蛾的種類。經過這次的飼養經驗之後，我總算對於長喙天蛾有些認識。喜歡吃雞屎藤的長喙天蛾有9種，而我在麥寮所發現的就有平帶(黃紋)長喙天蛾、黃斑(黑)長喙天蛾、膝帶 (彎帶)長喙天蛾3種，或許還有其他的種類也說不定，這是我所要努力的部分。
